... my wish is that 2009 be a blessed and fulfilling year for all of us. My goal for 2009 is to assist more writers achieve their goals. I am convinced that readers will continue to look for that next great read, and that publishers will continue to look for authors who can supply them. Consider joining a writers group, take a class, buddy up with another writer ... do whatever works for you. But write!

Pat has inspired to me set my writing goals for 2009:
1.) Finish writing "The Christmas Tree Farm" by May.
2.) Submit my novel manuscript to 20 agents.
3.) Complete my novel "Dakota Sky" by the end of the year.
4.) Write at least once a week.

My writing goals for 2009:
1. Have my memoir ready to submit to agents no later than March.
2. Publish at least three nonfiction articles.
3. Start proposal for second book by end of the summer.
I normally set tremendous goals for myself, but one of my other new year's resolutions was to stop being so demanding of myself! :-)
